I believe that the particular skills and abilities I have enable me to best enact my
commitment to contributing to social justice through the kinds of teaching, scholarship, and community coaction (collaboration,
leadership, and service) that are enabled in my current academic position. Given my particular background, interests,
and current position (a split-line between Clinical Psychology and Asian American Studies), I focus that
commitment and application of skills on social justice and empowerment particularly for Asian Americans.
I also believe that one foundation of social justice is honesty and transparency
of motivation. Thus, in the following pages you will find not only the usual
descriptions of my teaching, scholarship, and community coaction activities,
but also my reflections on intention and purpose. These are, of course,
always a work in progress. I welcome your feedback on my work.
